AutoZone, Inc.

2019-2021

Community Relations Specialist

2018

Enterprise Communication Intern

During my time at AutoZone, I served in two different roles. The first focused on internal communications, and the second on community relations. During my time, I assisted in community grant assessments, corporate funding alignment, and media relations with sponsorships.

Additionally, I created press kits, redesigned internal branding, and developed media plans that increased LinkedIn followers by 75% and engagement by 87% using data analytics and KPIs. My day-to-day focus was on talent marketing storytelling, grant writing, and crafting Corporate Social Responsibility/Environmental Social and Governance reports, including the 2019 and 2020 editions.

Programs

Adobe XD, Photoshop

Developed an app mockup/prototype during my initial internship to centralize existing AutoZoner apps and internal communications into one cohesive platform. The app integrated features such as AutoZone stocks, healthcare access, fitness and wellbeing goals, and employee discounts. This initiative focused on answering employee needs across the business combining prominent resources AutoZoners use in the field as well as headquarters into one central location available on work or personal mobile devices.
